Make sure your base image is light enough - If needs be, duplicate the layer and set it to Screen. Do this as many times as needed to make the base image a good lightness. (Make sure to merge the layers once you have finished lightening, so that the base image is just one layer.) |

Duplicate the base, set it to Color Burn and 35% Duplicate again, set it to Screen and 35% Duplicate once more, set it to Screen and 35% |

Download the curves file here. Remember where you unzip it to. Go back to your icon, choose Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves... When the first prompt box pops up, just click OK. On the next prompt box, choose "Load..." as pictured to the left. (Click to enlarge.) Load the curves file you just downloaded (curves.acv). Select OK. |
